Frequently asked questions.

Can the portraits be made from separate photos?

Yes! I can use many different photos of each individual to create one portrait. Wether it is 2 separate photos or 10, I can bring everyone together in either a specific way or layout you chose. For example, if I am given a photo of a grandfather that has passed many years ago and a photo of a newborn I am able to bring them together and create the portrait to have them sitting together very naturally.

Do you send the portrait to my email?

You will receive the high resolution portrait by email which can be printed on paper, canvas, t-shirts, mugs etc in any size! And uploaded to any social media! This way you receive the portrait as soon as it is complete and don’t have to wait extra for the shipping. Also it is cheaper this way for you to print it locally yourself and you have the freedom to print it however which way you would like!

What printing options do you offer?

I offer worldwide shipping for any orders that are printed.

For New Zealand customers only I offer printing and framing options.

To find out more about my printing options fill out an order form and I will send you all my printing options.

What is the current wait time?

My current wait time for a portrait is around 10 weeks from the payment date. This is just a rough estimate and not a guaranteed completion time frame, your portrait may take longer than expected to get perfect due to many different reasons. I do not rush my portraits and ensure I get every detail and request flawless to make sure it is everything you expected and more.

Do you show rough drafts of the portrait before the final one?

I do not show rough drafts but it is very important that you tell me every specific detail and request before I start your portrait to ensure that I can bring your vision to life. If at the end you request some minor changes to be made to get your portrait perfect I can do that, but this is why it is key to let me know all your specific requests in the beginning so hopefully I wont need to make any changes.

I only have old photos of my family member, will it be okay to use?

After you submit your order form and send me the photos of the individuals I will take a look at your photos to see if I can use them to create your portrait. I have lots of experience creating from old photos, some over 20 years old! So most likely I will be able to use them, but I will have to view them first.

I do not want my portrait to be shared online, is that okay?

Of course I will respect your wishes if you do not want me to share your portrait on my social media or website. I always ask permission before I share the portraits and understand it is very personal to some people and will listen to anyone that wants it to remain offline. Just please let me know!
